Young People and Homophobic and Transphobic Bullying

If you are a young person who is experiencing homophobia or Transphobia in school, at home or on the street, don't suffer in silence.

We are here to support and help you deal with your situation. Email us for an appointment, call us on 0116 2547412 or come in to the Centre and see us.

If you are suffering at school:

  • Try talking to to a teacher, youth worker or support worker you trust.

  • Talk to a friend you can trust, it will make you feel better to be able to share what is going on.

  • Get in contact with us at the Centre and we will act as a mediator between the school and you.

Whatever is going on, don't...

  • Suffer in silence

  • Think you are to blame

  • Resort to violence to deal with the situation

Remember, everyone has the right to live in peace, free from bullying and intimidation.####
